Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. She's best known as Bo from the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with first childhood memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two plays with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting skills in November 1999. She then, over her next ten years, moved in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. In April of 2011, they took their vows again in ceremony that was a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron was her second baby born on May 13th, 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by Gemini Awards. Gemini Awards. In 2009, she got the role of principal character Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the season's third finale episode. The news was announced for fans during the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show would return to production. The fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN has ranked Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time.
